Hi Barbara

I haven't actually tried to close an account per-se. As you can see from my emails above I did need them to close a sub-account and it still shows up too-but I did verify with them that it's "dead."

But I'm sad to hear that your written request weren't honored. I myself am mid-fight with them about another issue (the desktop tool) and can further expand on the idea that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing over there.

So in your case it might just be a case of not getting your request to the right department. If I were in your situation I'd go over the YSM help page and look up "cancel" to see what their EXACT procedure is. In the meantime; you can also delete your campaigns so there is nothing to spend. Pausing them would do that too. And you might want to download everything first in csv in case you want to re-use the data.

Yahoo the worst in customer service and Google close behind.....

I have sent this to them 25 times and still get a form e-mail.. I went to their site and can't delete my account so I lowered the daily spending to $1.00..
Do not use my credit card anymore I want my account deleted.

I have advertised with Overture and now Yahoo for many many years but now you have no phone support and I find very very poor on key word clicks. Google I will still use because their web site is easier to understand. They don't have phone support either which is very bad.

DO NOT USE MY CREDIT CARD ANYMORE!!!!!!

This is how bad you are I can't even cancel it myself on your web site. CRAZY

Oh, man I blew 400 in Dec at Adrite. It's kinda not really "true" cpv/ppv but it does do popups. It's kind of like Clicksor in that respect. It's a little more of a exchange platform.

But I've searched all over for some confirmation that people can make with Adbrite. I think you probably CAN make it work with the right demo research and choosing the ad location on the sites you do the buys with. Like I say in this piece anything with real people can convert.

In terms of learning more on PPV. I bought the Gauher course, I could have taught myself but I wanted the software that came with. But you're in luck; one of the other members Corey from Affportal is about to do a free webinar at Offervault. So it's free to join over there and I think he's doing it on Feb 2nd. If you're not a member of that site you NEED to get on that.

And you did get the email this last time right?

Thanks for the link! The only PPV I've done so far was with AdBrite interstitial ads and I did get a lot of visits, but perhaps I need to know where the other sources of PPV traffic are..

it’s NOT the testing platform

I do agree with that one and learned the same lesson :!:
