Hi MG!
Hahahaha, yeah! I mean it's weird right? You never see a soul with a donut, but so many shops! And who would have thought -of all the potential back room cartels you might find in LA-that there would be a donut conspiracy to keep Dunkin' out no matter what.

Thanks for stopping by!

Glad to hear someone else has noticed the wacko LA donut tendencies! I remember when I first moved here from Boston and started noticing how many donut shops there were. I mean, it is INSANE. It's a town known for skinniness and gym obsessions, and I never ever EVER see people walking around on the streets eating donuts...yet there is at least one donut shop on every block in certain neighborhoods. And not just chains like Yum Yum and Winchell's--oh no, LA is the land of mom-and-pop donut shops like I've never seen before. And all this with, as you note, a total absence of Dunkin' shops--which were the ONLY donut shops back in my hometown of Boston. It's a weird, weird world here in Tinseltown....
